Fully ground, 1/4 beef shares from mature, grass fed, grain supplemented animals taste better than any beef you've ever had! It's lean, local and free from antibiotics, growth hormones or any other chemical we wouldn't feed our own family.
Before growing our own beef, I had never tasted mature beef. We describe it as having the flavor of added beef bullion. It's delicious! It's not gamey at all, but it is tough, which is why the entire product is ground into burger.
$200.00 non-refundable deposit to reserve your beef. Yield should be approximately 95-125 pounds of beef which will utilize about 4 cubic feet of freezer space.
A quarter ground beef will be approximately 175 - 225 pounds of hanging weight, and at $6.50 per pound, that makes your cost $1,137.50 - $1,462.50. Additionally a kill fee and cut and wrap fees will be payable directly to the butcher.
